Penfield DPM Feather Zips feat. 3X Dry Technology

For the autumn!winter 07/08 season Penfield pushes the boundaries again with the introduction of Schoeller 3X Dry technology. It’s nothing new for an outerwear company to be using technologies to keep you dry. but as usual, Penfield is at the creative forefront by using the technology on garments not usually treated with leading technology.

The Penfield DPM Feather zips and crews are garments associated with comfort, warmth and style but now they are water resistant as well. When treated with the leading Swiss technology from Schoeller the garments don’t feel any different but they actually repel water and wick moisture from your body to keep you warm in more extreme weather than ever before. So now the fashionable ‘Down stroke’ camo penned by Mhi’s own Hardy Blechman has been given an unbeatable functionality from Schoeller and it all sits together perfectly on a Penfield tailored garment.
It’s nice seeing companies being innovative, especially when it makes sense. The next time you are out and it starts raining, and you forgot your jacket, you have nothing to worry about.
The Penfield DPM Feather Zips are part of their Fall/Winter 07/08 collection and will be coming to stores soon. Check out detailed pictures of all three colorways after the jump.
