James Mollison’s The Disciples exhibition

Who hasn’t at some point in time honored their favorite musician by adopting their style? The British Photographer James Mollison’s current show, “The Disciples,” at Hasted Hunt Gallery in Chelsea (through August 16) begs the question, “When should one stop appearing in public dressed like a rock god?” Judging from this motley crew of devoted fans photographed at various concerts, the answer is never. Rock on!

Focusing on everyone from 50 Cent to Bob Dylan, The exhibition showcases how devoted fans are influenced by their idols style and the lengths how far they’ll go to replicate it. Pictured above: Klaxons fans (top row) and Bob Dylan fans (bottom row). Via nytimes.com.
