With the election over it is time to focus attention squarely on the future. That said, peaking back to the sea of promotional and propagandist material that swirled around us in 2008 has merit. Steven Heller, author of the excellent Iron Fists: Branding in the 20th Century Totalitarian State (Phaidon, 2008), has selected a few favorites for today’s New York Times.
