Where form meets function

Portraiture Now, at the National Portrait Gallery, focuses on the work of six artists working on feature photography for publications ranging from the New Yorker to Esquire. Each has a unique take on contemporary portraiture, and are chosen because their work reaches such a broad audience. Included are Alec Soth (whose work is above) and Ryan McGinley. To complement the show a nice web feature is up and worth a gander.
