Scope Art Fair

In yesterday’s Guardian James Wescott asked, “Has the Recession Sparked a New Renaissance?” His review of The Armory Show sums up the tenor of the current show and its breadth. Expansion is a minor theme, and one that connects to the corresponding Scope Art Fair, happening just a little north east of the Piers 92 and 94.

While not directly linked to Wescott’s musings, the Scope Art Fair is evidence of growing number of boutique fairs that surround the big top. Papermag took a spin through the show, located in tents at Lincoln Center on 62nd Street. From that some images that caught the eye follow.
