We recently chatted with Coleman Horn about The Vael Project and his thoughts on design more generally.
“It is tough to generalize, because there are certainly great designers out there and there are a lot of crap designers. The difference between a good designer and a crap designer, from my point of view, is that a crap designer needs to put their ego, their mark into the object. Who knows what it is? I did it too. I mean in school everything I did looked like something Karim Rashid would have done. It was wacky.”
