Gruff by Arno Mathies

Built of laminated corrugated cardboard, the Gruff Collection makes inventive use of material and process. The pieces are assembled using housing joints and stem from designer Arno Mathies school work. As a student at University of Art and Design Laussane, Mathies first began to tinker with cardboard. The result is the Gruff table. Also included in the end collection are bookshelves and benches. A glass top is offered, but all pieces can be fully constructed of corrugated cardboard. Another nice development in sustainable furnishing. (via Dezeen).
