Founder of the Wienner Succession and Weinner Werkstatte, architect Josef Hoffmann was one of the leading figures of early 20th-century design. His personal influences are subject of a new permanent exhibition, Josef Hoffmann: Inspiration, opening on June 16, 2009, at the Josef Hoffmann Museum. Located in Brtnice, Czech Republic, the museum hopes the show will provide a comprehensive look at the man’s life and work. (via DB).
