Ox Chair by Arne Jacobsen

A true icon of modernism, the Ox Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen over a 5 year period. It first met public eyes in 1966 with a mixture of surprise and admiration. Like other modernist architects, Jacobsen moved to interior and object design as a way to explore the potential of fully harmonized spaces. His approach was minimalist, but remained infused with some humor throughout. The Ox Chair stands as a great example of Jacobsen’s talents. (via Daily Icon).
