The “Front and Back” Apartment by H20 Architects

Founded in 2005, H2O Architects specializes in creative design and restoration of ancient monuments. A recent commission had the firm offering a unique solution for the home of a comic strip collector. The home was dilapidated, as well as built on a confusing geometry. H2O imagined a continuous open space which expands depending on uses. Through sculpted shapes, a variety of niches emerge, allowing space for a bathroom, bar, and (most importantly) collection storage. The apartment is located in Paris.
