opens Andy Glimore “Black Math” on July 10, 2009. The artists work builds upon intricate interwoven lines inspired by an interest in the physics of sound and accoustics. Gilmore is a musician, and his affection for strings and dance are apparent in the material of “Black Math.” Much of the work features bright colors on black background, giving the compositions a floating feel. Gilmore lives and works in Rochester, NY.
The exhibition will be up until August 22, 2009 at Pool in Berlin.
Full preview of “Black Math” after the jump.
