Andy Gilmore “Black Math”

Pool Gallery opens Andy Glimore “Black Math” on July 10, 2009. The artists work builds upon intricate interwoven lines inspired by an interest in the physics of sound and accoustics. Gilmore is a musician, and his affection for strings and dance are apparent in the material of “Black Math.” Much of the work features bright colors on black background, giving the compositions a floating feel. Gilmore lives and works in Rochester, NY.

The exhibition will be up until August 22, 2009 at Pool in Berlin.

Full preview of “Black Math” after the jump.
