Constructed completely from materials salvaged from Boston’s Big Dig highway project, the Big Dig House is located in Lexington, MA. Single Speed Design utilized much of the saved material “as is”, saving time and energy, and also adding an industrial dimension to the look. The home is clad in ceder and glass, softening the aesthetic and giving the structure a clean and contemporary feel.
