Points of View: Capturing the 19th Century in Photographs

This October, the British Library will open Points of View. Rather than base the exhibition on art, the curators will explore how photography reflected the concerns of the Victorians. The Library has a remarkable collection of 19th-century photographs, however they are rarely displayed to the public. This exhibition will bring the material to the public eye. A full run down of Points of View is available from the Guardian.

Some choice images of industry after the jump.
