Music plays an integral role in Eric White’s life. His recent body of work filters classic album covers through the painters own eyes, creating visions that are easily recognizable yet full of hidden meaning. There is social commentary, humour, and nostalgia.
White is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. “LP” goes on view at Sloan Fine Art, 128 Rivington, New York on September 16, 2009. The new work will remain on view until October 10, 2009.
