Swedish neo-conceptualist Alexander Gutke is preoccupied with modes of reproduction, illusion, and cinema. His works, as you might imagine, are rather cerebral. A selection of material from 2000 to 2008 makes up the first survey of Gutke’s work on American soil. It opens Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit.

Open until December 27, 2009.
