Evan Hecox “The Last Hundred Years”

This past weekend, Joshua Liner gallery opened The Last Hundred Years, a series of new works by Denver-based Even Hecox. A frequent collaborator with Arktip, Hecox has an impeccable eye when it comes to streetscape and urban scenes. For this collection of gouache on panel and mixed media work, Hecox draws from recent travels to Vietnam. The Last Hundred Years might be his most ambitious project yet, and is his first exhibition at Liner.

Runs to October 10, 2009. Joshua Liner Gallery, 548 W. 28th Street, New York.

Another favorite after the jump.
