On October 1, 2009, Chapter 1 Gallery (33 Marshall Street, London, W1) will open its doors in London’s Soho. The first show, Genesis, brings together the work of six artists from around Europe setting a tone for the gallery’s aim of making London a center of contemporary art – with the ambition that this designation be made through the quality of the work shown. An independent venture, Chapter 1’s future exhibitions will show a range of styles, media, and creative format.
Genesis includes work from Stefan Marx (Germany), Mike Swaney (Barcelona), Mudwig Dans (UK), Merjin Hos, Samuel Francois (France), and Erosie (Eindhoven)
