Exploring the roll designers played in helping the British Postal Service establish public image, Designs on Delivery displays a number of mid-century posters communicating services and bolstering confidence. The exhibition was created by the British Postal Museum, and is on view at the London College of Communication. As public art, these posters capture the feeling of the era (explicitly the years 1930 – 1960). Running until November 4, 2009.
The Guardian has a selected preview of the show. A few more images from that after the jump.
