During London Design Week Okay Studio set up at Hackney’s Mother Space. In the showcase, furniture from all the folks attached to Okay and a few friends was revealed. A certain simplicity creates a running theme, with distinct features clear in the offerings of each member. For example, Tomas Alonso’s V&A chair of metal tube and solid ash is an exceptional contrast of material in unique shape. Another standout are the bench seats by Andrew Haythorntwaite and Jordi Canudas.
