Releasing next month from Prestel, Piecebook Reloaded is a rare opportunity to peak inside the the black books of graffiti artists. Before the internet, these books existed as a method to both record and share (with a select few) ones personal drawings. Written by Sacha Jenkins and David Villorente, Piecebook Relaoded features more than 50 graffiti legends (for example REAS and Cope 2), in a beautifully presented series of drawings. The book is prefaced by a contextual essay focusing on the importance of the piecebook in the larger graffiti narrative.
