Satoshi Itasaka’s ode to the antique, the broken family heirloom, takes shape in the Grandmother’s Chair by H22034. The designer takes inspiration from sentimental attachment to objects and the memories that hold. The result has appeal, built have in clear resin, Itasaka “repairs” the Grandmother’s chair leaving only the pieces that hold clear memory explicitly visible. The end result is a chair that retains age without a false patina in the restoration. (via Yatzer).
