Independent magazine Kasino A4 has closed down after ten issues. However, contrary to 99.9% of magazine closures this year, the closure was entirely voluntary; the team simply decided that it’d be best to end on a high rather than drudging along to irrelevancy.

The Finnish magazine focused on one topic per issue, such as family and sex. Suitably, the last issue is entitled ‘deadline’ and will focus on tragedy, death and the ‘other side’. Latecomers can still get some issues on Kasino’s website – including the launch issue – so it will be relatively easy to pretend that you were part of the in crowd all along. (Kasino)
