Considered by many to be the father of the American studio craft furniture movement, Wendell Castle’s latest work went on display last year at Barry Friedman Gallery in New York. Wallpaper* provided a roundup last week, which is recapped here simply because Castle’s forms continue to strike a nerve. Important to note is the move toward more high-tech material (i.e. not just wood) in the latest crop.
