Director Tim Burton is subject of a retrospective by the Department of Film at MOMA starting on Sunday, November 22, 2009. Over his 27 year career, Burton has given the world films like Edward Scissor Hands, Beetle Juice, and Alice in Wonderland. The exhibition explores his influence over a generation of film makers and displays over 700 unique objects and drawings. Coolhunting interviewed curator Ron Magliozzi, a must for anyone interested in the background of the retrospective.
Film showings will compliment the installation throughout the run, which ends on April 26, 2010.
