Surrey-born Martin Parr took to photography as a young boy. He then studied the subject at Manchester Polytechnic, and has since become a Professor of Photography at The University of Wales, Newport campus.
Parr’s personal work takes a truly candid look at everyday life. Rocket Gallery is hosting a retrospective of Parr’s photographs, covering 25 years from 1975 to 2009. A single book, capturing the full scope of the photographers career is also on offer. (via Yatzer).
