Berlin’s Turbine Hall

A bit late in mentioning this, but the New York Times published a neat essay by Jan Otakar Fischer on Peter Berhrens’ AEG Turbine Hall earlier in the week. Built in 1909, the building is the rare industrial building that still performs its intended function. The Hall is also testiment to Berhens philosophies and the total works of art he brilliantly created.
