Robert Weingarten at High Museum of Art

In The Portrait Unbound Robert Weingarten uses layers off images to create complex biographical composites. The exhibition features 21 works, representing figures like Sandra Day O’Conner (above), Hank Aaron, and Dennis Hopper.

Weingarten has exhibited over 70 times world wide. His photographs are included in collections at the George Eastman House, J. Paul Getty Museum, and the MET.

The Portrait Unbound runs at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta from January 23 to May 30, 2010.
