Wallpaper*s Sophie Lovell gives the run down of IMM Cologne today. She reports a general interest in simplicity and a return to tradition. This thought is reflected in the related slide show – which offers looks at exciting new handcrafts and reissues of classic examples of modernism. Well worth exploring in full.

Inspired by wallpapering tables, Robert Haslbeck’s Under-Koffer table series caught my eye through the slide show. Walter Knoll’s black series also impressed, as did Richard Lampert’s reissue of Herberte Hirche’s greatest designs.
