Harry by Eric Jourdan for Ligne Roset

Big bodies and slender legs typically don’t go well together.

However, Eric Jourdan’s plush “Harry” seating collection for Ligne Roset balances overstuffed upholstered tops with thin metal bottoms rather well. The legs come in two types – straight and a bent tubular support – and the seats are in armchair and twin seat sofa form. The French designer’s intent was to produce pieces that are “undatable,” which aesthetically has been achieved. He calls the little legs “stilettos,” a good reminder that a hefty lass can still be sexy. (Perhaps “Harry” is a drag queen?).

More looks at “Harry” after the jump. (via Dezeen).
