Context Furniture’s William & Mary Cafe Series

The William & Mary style, especially the turned legs, provides conceptual basis for Context Furniture’s new series of chairs. Husband and wife team Bryce and Kerry Moore have chosen to treat the shapely William & Mary leg in profile. The design works well with their chosen layered birch plywood, finished with walnut or maple veneers.

The series includes five forms – the side, metro, harbor, boheme, and market – all of which marry chairs in the Context line with the William & Mary inspired front legs. Above is the side chair, the most successful of the bunch.
