Yahïa Ouled-Moussa | Sculptural Furniture

Taking traditional forms, and upholstering them with re-used vintage linens and military textiles, Yahia Ouled-Moussa of Parisian gallery Yoming turns furniture into experimental sculpture. His “Dada Stools” (above) use printed textiles as a base for arranged poems. Other pieces find military belts accentuating the meaning of the “tank chair” – a heavily padded metal framed arm chair. He plays as well with the Louis XVI side chair. (via Design Boom).
