Rosson Crow’s recent Deitch Projects exhibition Bowery Boys has found book shape via O.H.W.O.W. Her history paintings for the March show found Crow immersed in the traditions of the Downtown art scene – drawing from Haring and others in her large scale paintings. The work also toys with notions of the “bad boy” and downtown rebellion.
The book includes a critical essay by Kathy Grayson and a range of material providing narrative inspiration for the Bowery Boys exhibition.
