Seattle’s Maiden Noir presents their new Summer 2010 collection.
“For this summer we looked at the San Juan Islands for inspiration. The San Juan’s are a small chain of islands are based in the upper Northwest corner of the United States in Canadian waters. The islands sit in between the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Strait of Georgia. The islands were won by the Americans from the British Authorities in 1859. The infamous confrontation was titled the “Pig War” with a pig being the only casualty of the war.”
The collection features natural duck canvas and bold plaid items, and is now available at Maiden Noir stockists as well as the MN online shop.
