Opening on July 9 and running through August 28, 2010, “Summer Interlude” presents seven young artists from Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, and the United States. The group ranges in style, though is connected through their medium – paint. Julia Bulik creates picturesque drawings on both canvas and paper. In contrast, Donata Benker specializes in landscapes, both urban and pastoral. Zachary Thornton will be showing for the first time in Berlin during “Summer Interlude,” and an example of his work is shown above.
The other four artists, of course, are also very interesting.
Work by Bulik and Benker after the jump.
