Where the runway meets the street

I’m a bit fond of the forthcoming Autumn 2010 Levi’s Vintage (I still prefer LVC) collection – especially the rework on the denim jacket. The 1936 Type 1 looks to be a strong look. It is almost wearable as a heavy shirt based on the fit of this model. “Heavy weight denim jacket in a vintage ‘Graniteville’ finish – a heavily distressed look with colouration to the denim and a crumpled finish to the fabric. Rivets are exposed, sleeve seams are worn and there’s a back cinch for detail.” Pre-order at Oki-ni.
