Walter Hansen, a Wellington-based designer, combines a love for typography and local New Zealand flora and fauna in his print work. Endemic has his latest – “Kowhai Squadron” – inspired by a childhood love of making model planes. The print is produced with three colors and done directly onto pine plywood.
