The latest exhibition at Impossible Project, Facing the Impossible, opens on December 16, 2010.
“When Impossible embarked on its mission to bring analog instant photography back, people worldwide were facing the extinction of their beloved film and cameras. But Impossible faced all challenges and developmental problems and has produced new instant films for Vintage Polaroid cameras.
The portrait series Facing the Impossible celebrates this accomplishment and faces the Impossible possibilities of analog instant photography …today. Selected photographers are dealing with the portrait topic on Impossible PX 600 Silver Shade UV+ and PX 70 Color Shade PUSH! film to create their Impossible portraits.
Works of the following artists will be presented:
Adam Goldberg, Adarsha Benjamin, Chloe Aftel, Irène Nam, Jen Altman, Lou O’Bedlam, Mikael Kennedy, Patrick Winfield, Rommel Pecson, The Gentlemen Amateur, Thibault Tourmente and Tim Mantoani.”
