At 22 years of age, Nathan Cash Davidson is the youngest artist to have the priviledge of a solo exhibition at London’s Parasol Unit (a not-for-profit contemporary art space). His exhibition, Burlesque in which we’ve thrown it on its head, collects Davidson’s work from 2006 to 2010. Lauded for his “uniquely compelling visual language,” Davidson excels at figurative painting without confining himself to subject. His paintings range from depictions of Henry VIII to popular culture icons like Ali G.
Burlesque in which we’ve thrown it on its head runs through February 13, 2011.
