RISD graduate Louie Rigano is currently traveling through Japan on a Fulbright Scholarship. His furniture is all about paired down ideas, and ideals, and complete regard for material. While most of his pieces are produce fully in wood, Rigano also succeeds in tying together organic and inorganic material with great precision.
Rigano’s “Big Curve,” a hardwood maple bench/chaise, is shown above. A selection of chairs and shelving units come after the jump.
