Nixon Trooper Wins Good Design Awards

Founded in Chicago in 1950 by architects Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., GOOD DESIGN bestows international recognition upon the world’s most prominent designers and manufacturers for advancing new, visionary, and innovative product concepts, invention and originality, and for stretching the envelope
beyond what is considered ordinary product and consumer design.

Nixon has announced that the brand’s Trooper Headphones are recipient of a 2010 Good Design Award.

The Nixon Trooper is a custom built collapsible on-ear headphone ideal for traveling. The lightweight polyurethane construction blends comfort and quality with silicone ear cushions covering the 40mm
drivers, padded headband, full-size volume knob and removable cord. Coming in at 170 grams it is the ultimate travel companion. The Trooper is available with or without a custom 3-button mic option and
is available in 12 colorways.
