Banksy and The Simpsons and The Oscars

Not for the first time Banksy worked on a Simpsons episode. Timing could not be better, as the artist’s tag appears in the most recent episode (22×14) of the cartoon, where The Simpsons visit the Oscar award ceremony. With Banksy’s recent Oscar nomination for his documentary “Exit Through The Gift Shop”, this is a great fit!

Check out the latest Banksy pieces to have appeared in Los Angeles prior to the Oscar show here.

Banksy and the Simpsons (and the Oscars)

More news from Arrested Motion, “After taking a brilliant turn as the director of the Simpsons’ opening sequence, Banksy returns as a reference in the last episode (22×14) as a timely tag backstage as America’s favorite animated family makes an appearance at the Oscars. Speaking of which, several other pieces (including one that made grown men fight) have popped up since we showed you the first two stencils in Los Angeles.”

View some of Banksy’s LA work, and an Oscar added to “The Camden Living Room” after the jump.
