The concept of a sneaker with a removable ankle part to turn it into a low top is not entirely new. We have seen it numerous times and now Italian luxury brand Trussardi 1911 has also taken a shot at it. Their Separate sneaker comes for Spring/Summer 2011 in two colorways, featuring mixed leather and canvas uppers. Unfortunately we always come to the same conclusion with this type of sneaker – it just does not make sense, because the high top looks worse than a regular high top and the low top looks worse than a regular low top. This leaves you with two possible sneakers, but both do not look as nice as they could. Restir has the Trussardi 1911 Separate Sneaker in stock now.
