““For the third annual visual arts commission, the Park Avenue Armory has chosen to work with artist and composer Ryoji Ikeda. The artist’s installation “the transfinite” occupies much of the buildings 55,000 square foot drill hall, offering a first chance for an American audience to experience his work. Subsuming the crowd with abstract expressions of digital code accompanied by a tight composition, Ikeda meditates on the concept of infinity.””
