Gerry Judag “Jaguar E-Type” Sculpture

With a track record of outstanding large-scale sculptural installations at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Gerry Judag didn’t disappoint with his model of a “Jaguar E-Type” at the 2011 event. Designed in 1961, the original E-Type wowed at the Geneva Motor show that year… even Enzo Ferrari conceding that Malcolm Sayer’s performance vehicle was “the most beautiful car ever made.” The automobile is perfect fodder for Judag’s sculpture, sitting on the nose it also functions to provoke a sensational response in the contemporary viewer.

The Festival of Speed closed on July 3, 2011.
