Reebok collaborated with internationally renowned design magazine Wallpaper* and five of Europe’s leading artists to produce unique works inspired by Reebok’s innovative ZigTech, EasyTone, RunTone and RealFlex footwear and apparel technologies.
Reebok’s training and fitness heritage can be traced back to its founder J.W. Foster creating the first modern running shoes back in 1895. Its proud tradition of design innovation has produced some of the most innovative technologies in recent times – including the award-winning SmoothFit and U-Form, as well as iconic silhouettes such as The Pump. More recently, ZigTech received an award at the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Awards earlier this year.
Spanish modernist architects A-Cero, iconoclastic French designer Ora Ito, UK film production house Partizan, Italian designer Fabio Novembre and German founder of SolarLab Research & Design Christoph Behling, were hand-picked to fuse Reebok’s design DNA with their own creative visions. The creative process has been documented in Reebok’s ‘Design Diaries’ by upcoming Dutch film maker Lize Korpershoek and the final works are now on display at the Wallpaper* Pop-Up exhibition at the Great Room in London.
