It was a few years ago when photographer Peter Tangen began something called The Real Life Superhero Project. He was able to round up a crew of people that actually dress up as superheros and do their part in fighting neighborhood crime and take their portraits. The portraits are fantastic. Vice Magazine had a chance to sit down with Phantom Zero, Mr. Xtreme, and Geist to get some insight as to what compelled them to be about that life. Definitely worth a read.
