Will the Nike Dunk do for the sportswear company’s golf line what it did for their SB line in terms of hype? Probably not, but it’s still a really cool offering. The fusion of one of the most iconic and classic sneaker styles with a sport that has such a rich history of spawning unique attire makes for an interesting marriage. The new golf shoe will soon be seen on Nike athletes Michelle Wie and Anthony Kim; Wie will be sporting them this week at the Women’s Canadian Golf Opening, and Kim will follow in soon on the PGA Tour.
Check out some more information regarding the new Nike Dunk (NG) Golf Shoe:
“The Nike Dunk NG comes with two sets of shoelaces, allowing athletes to either accentuate the bright color of the shoe or to opt for traditional white. With full-grain waterproof leather, the Nike Dunk NG can battle the elements of poor weather conditions. The Scorpion Stinger Spikes ensure that traction is not an issue for the Nike Dunk NG.”
