Where the runway meets the street

White Mountaineering offer a more sober take on Spring/Summer 2012 than previous seasons, presented here by End Clothing. There are still plenty of prints in the form of flower camo, jacquard and fairisle, however the loud and proud full on digi prints of old seem to have stepped aside. Parkas, they’re back of course, in understated beige and a relatively subdued tartan. The pricing on these is challenging to say the least but the spec is impressive enough to deserve a second look.

Embroidered leather accessories have a Native American feel and backpacks built from ballistic nylon are tough, clean, simple and available in dark hues. Aside from the lighter fabrics and graphic t-shirts the collection doesn’t shout ‘summer’, a move that will please those who prefer a more toned down approach to the warmer months.
