Where the runway meets the street

Los Angeles-based Fred Segal Man gets serious with their casual four garment capsule collection designed by New York’s Robert Geller. They keep the shit simple by working over items that belong in (almost) all our closets: a garment-dyed Japanese denim rider jacket, fade-dye hooded sweatshirt, sleeveless “Oceanside” reversible t-shirt and cropped neon Japanese denim.

Give credit for the overworked neon Japanese denim: they are strong and contrasting against almost anything in my closet but I’ll be damned if I do not get a pair to rock this summer. The rider jacket is a strong fit as well. Hell, all of this works – even on the East Coast.
