Akomplice’s latest lookbook takes you on a visual journey through the West Coast’s largest city: Los Angeles. Many things can be said about L.A.’s fashion intuition, but Akomplice bypassed all conventions with the idea of capturing the city in its rawest, and least staged demeanor. With this notion in mind, the Akomplice team set forth on a series of surprise visits to a handful of the company’s most loyal and long-term retailers. The tour took to the streets of Santa Monica (Conveyor @ Fred Segal), West LA (Black Market LA), Silverlake (X-Large Store), Melrose Ave (Brooklyn Projects), and Burbank (Backside). Akomplice’s compilation of photos possess an essence of the city that is rarely captured, all the while documenting their spring 2012 line in its natural habitat. The camo MF Doom tee, shown above at Brooklyn Projects, is a highlight.
